Our Community

Debec is a small village located about 100 kilometers northwest of Fredericton, New Brunswick.  Our population is approximately 150, and we have many surrounding rural communities.   In our community, there is one convenience store, a post office, numerous churches and a fire hall. Many people in our village work in agriculture, forestry and manufacturing industries. Some people in our village commute to larger populated towns and cities to work. We are very close to the United States. You only have travel about 20 kilometers and you'll find yourself entering Houlton, Maine.
